PDF Documents
BLE publishes many documents, such as
issuances, in PDF (Portable Document Format) format. This
allows these documents to be downloaded and printed with their
original formatting intact. These files require the Adobe
Acrobat® reader (Version 5.0 or greater) to be viewed
and printed. This reader is free and may be downloaded from
the Adobe
Web site.
JavaScript
A few applications on BLE's web site requires
the use of JavaScript, a scripting language that is built
in to most browsers. JavaScript is usually turned on by default
in most browsers. JavaScript can be turned on and off in the
security settings of your browser.
What are Plug-Ins?
Plug-ins are software programs that extend
the capabilities of web browsers in a specific way - giving
you, for example, the ability to play audio samples, view
video movies from within a browser and view documents over
the Web without requiring you to have the original software
installed on your system.
On pages that link to files that may require
a plug-in, we have provided a link to downloading that plug-in
at the bottom of the page. If you find a page where no plug-ins
have been provided or the wrong plug-in has been provided,
please let us know by e-mailing the BLE webmaster at od@ble.dole.gov.ph.
